I have always loved opening ceremonies for any kind of event or show but the 2010 Olympics' opening ceremonies top my best-of list. I loved it when the Canadian snowboarder jumped through the Olympic rings with snow exploding with him, i just think every thing about it radiates the Canadian theme. I was also really impressed by the 16 year old Nikki Yanofsky who sang the national anthem, she did an extraordinary job. I thought the Natives' performance was heartwarming because they are the true representatives of Canada and they did a really good job of showing that. However the most memorable part of the show for me was when the snowboarders and skiers were pretending to glide down a mountain. It was so graceful, and I can't believe how hard it must have been to do that as perfectly and as nicely as they did. Like I said earlier, i love watching opening ceremonies, but this one definitely tops my list.
