Canada ought to be proud of its very own Alexandre Bilodeau, THE first Canadian to win an Olympic title on his country's soil, and that that medal is a gold one is even more impressive. To top that off, he did it at the very beginning of the Olympic games! It makes people want to watch it, people who might not be interested in sports. He did everything by the book, heck he may even make it in the history books thanks to this awesome performance. Not only did he win, he won with a .17 lead over the other competitors! This is a moment that will mark our Canadian history forever.
