John Montgomery is a CANADIAN competitor in this year's winter Olympics. The sport he is competing in is called skeleton; its like the luge, but instead the sled is ridden face first. So far, he has come in second place after doing his two runs, he is still confident for his last run which is good. Even if he comes in second or last, i would like to congratulate him on just having the guts to participate in such a sport! I mean, have you seen how scary it looks? Your going down a steep ICE track on a super tiny, skinny sled, wearing a super thin layer of clothes so you can go faster down the slope, and to top that off, your going at 90 miles an hour ( that's 144 kilometers an hour!!!) I'm pretty sure not many of us would have the guts to do that so, again i congratulate him on first of all, his awesome performance and second of all, his courage for doing it.
